PicoChess v4 Desktop & Lite Images

Hi Everyone,

Just a heads up that my latest v4 Desktop and Lite images [27 Feb 2026] do not contain the 3-4-5 piece Syzygy tablebases. If your Pi is connected to the internet you can download them by running the script in the /opt/picochess/tablebases folder:

./download-syzygy345.sh

It will take a while as it's about 980 MB in size. You could also transfer the tablebases/syzygy folder from another image if you have a Linux PC (or insert a card reader containing a previous PicoChess image into your Pi) if you have the skill.

I'll add them to the images for the next release.
