DGT Pi as a DGT 3000 clock?

So I am trying to use my DGT Pi as a DGT 3000 clock by plugging it into the clock port of my DGT e-board and playing with the Fritz interface via the DGT Rabbit plugin.

However, no matter what I do the DGT Rabbit plugin never recognizes the clock and the clock appears to be still acting like a DGT Pi. 

Am I missing something? 

The DGT Pi device seems so clunky, I mean sometimes after I turn it off it will turn itself back on and we go through this battle of off and on like 4 or 5 times in a row before it finally stays off, it's really weird.

Sometimes I turn it on and immediately I see the DGT Pi text but other times I turn it on and I see just dashes where the time would be and the "option" just blinking the number 25. I have no clue what it's trying to do.

It's running version 0.91 by the way.

Usu the connevtion dgt Port at the legt side of The Dgtpi  not at the backside!!!!!!!!

I thought I was supposed to plug it in on the side as well but it's simply a hole, there is nothing to plug into.

So I got in touch with DGT and they are arranging for me to get a new unit.

Great! Btw. there is no 0.91 version, i guess y meant 0.9L
