Just another small update to my v3.3 images. I've added the MacHack engine for those who might not have the Linux skills to do it themselves. Please have a look at Dirk's wonderful introduction to his PicoChess adaptation of this classic chess program.

The links are the same as before and included here for your convenience.

Dear developers,

Picochess V3.3 and V4 are wonderful, congratulations!

To be perfect, in my opinion, they should have a New Game function to abandon the game and maintain the chosen level.

I know that when you return all the pieces to their starting position, it starts over.

I wish there was also a function to save games in PGN via a USB flash drive that could be inserted into the Raspberry Pi.

Congratulations again to the brilliant developers!

Regards
Waldomiro

Waldomiro,

See the Game Setup menu to start a new game. It's needed for no-eboard mode. Kind of redundant if using a board since you need to replace the pieces anyway.

You could write a script to copy the games.pgn file to your USB but you can use ssh and copy it to a PC or set up the email functionality to email it to you. Needs network connectivity though.
