With the coming of the new board by DGT: Benny, do you know if has a raspberry pi zero inside?

Has anyone else gotten any tech specs?

If it can used with picochess it'll be a dream come true.

The heart of the DGT Centaur is a Pi Zero. I am sure that someone could get PicoChess running on it. :-) Lets wait and see....

Pi Zero was issued over 3 years ago with no Ethernet and no WiFi   Good luck with that 🤔

Sure, but the pi zero w is similar sized and I have put picochess on the zero w and confirmed it works.

Yes we tested the RPi Zero W in March last year, there are 3 threads on the subject.

It uses armv6l so we updated the engines accordingly then.

I think the statement is primarily meant to inform interested people that DGT: Centaur is not a replacement for the traditional DGT boards. With a Raspberry Pi Zero (be it Zero W or plain Zero) inside you will be able to connect some way if you can physically reach it.

BTW, I can also confirm picochess working nicely on a Pi Zero W, though I keep having issues with the bluetooth connection to the board. But that story was covered in one of the threads Al mentioned.
