Installing Picochess on a Raspberry Pi

This may be of some value to new users. I was helping a person install 3.4 and decided to make a video to go along with the instructions.

Wow, I've been living under a rock and had no idea the current versions of Picochess would work with a RPi5 and allow it to recognize e-Boards and additionally would run on a DGT Pi.

It happened during the my 11 month hiatus from chess.

Hi Marc,

The Pi5 can't be used inside the DGTPi (hardware mod) due to an incompatible dgtpicom. I'm not aware of any more work carried out to solve this.

I probably remembered it wrong. I no longer use a DGT Pi but did put a 4b in the one I had. I ordered a RPi5 replacement for the 4b I was using on the DGT e-board this morning.
