Position Setup Issue

Hi everyone,

Just a heads-up that the Position Setup isn't working in my latest images (thanks Henri). I'll have to wait for Dirk to solve it. In the meantime you can replace 2 files in /opt/picochess/dgt with the ones in the attached archive. I'll update my images when I get a fix.

Hi,

I did recently used the Nov 2024 images and could not determine any changes the files between those provided in the DGT folder of the image and the zipfile provided, so I assume all is fine.

However, I was not aware of the issue so how can I test/confirm this to be working?

Hi Peter,

For some reason you aren't receiving my emails. I replied to your Private Messages and I sent you a PM reply to your post here. I even sent an email directly to you but they don't seem to be getting to you (maybe they're being flagged as spam?).

Anyway, the 30 Sep 2024 versions of my images had an update/fix for the Rev II. Unfortunately, it caused the Position Setup to stop working - PicoChess would freeze when you pressed the clock button to scan the board. There were 2 files affected (display.py and menu.py). I reverted those 2 files back to their previous versions to fix the issue.

If you can use Position Setup then it is working.
