Hello. It's strange that no one has answered my question yet. It used to be that when Stockfish released a new version (Stockfish 18), it would also be available for Raspberry Bookworm here shortly afterward.

you can install via brew or download the zipped source file and compile it on your raspi. the tools should be already present like unzip or the compiler. 

if you get stuck you may ask for further assistance.
