PicoChess runs on all RPi's however the RPi model1 has an armv6 CPU so only Zurichess is available for that. The RPI Models 2 & 3 use the armv7 CPU where all 8 engines are available, so I suggest that your original model is a model 1.
As for the grades of Rodent II. It's generally rated around 2650, I ran a couple of tournaments recently using SCID Vs PC where in 1 the Capablanca personality came out top, but in another Grumpy came out on top.
I hope this helps....
Al.
Thx alot and kind regards
Mark
See this post which shows how to switch the personality files:

I'm off out now, but I'll have a look on my return as I'm sure I have a document on some of the lower personality grades.
Cheers,
Al.
If you look here, some of the individual personalities within each group have ELO reprosensitve grades:

Yes they are the default personalities selectable via d-rodent, then the levels (personalities) within ....

Changing the personalities in Rodent II works!
Thx alot
Kind regards

If you like, there's nothing to stop you merging all the personality files into one file called d-rodent.uci as I have done.
All the personalities are then selectable via the clock Engine & Level menus.
Cheers,
Al.
Al.
I promised to give you the command I used to create the d-rodent.uci file, it was the 'sudo sed w' command followed by the new file name and the 6 files that are that are copied into the new file:
sudo sed wd-rodent.uci personality_club.uci personality_famous.uci personality_fun.uci personality_league.uci personality_masters.uci personality_school.uci
Cheers,
Al.
I could of used a wild card as there no other uci files in the Rodent2 directory.
sudo sed wd-rodent.uci *.uci
I'm also reliably informed I could have used cat too ....
Cheers,
Al.
Sorry, this command isnt working. Could you try it with your system and please give me step by step every command.
Thx alot!
Kind regards Mark
Check 3 replies earlier on March the 25th, I actually supplied a working d-rodent.uci file ...
All you need to do is replace this with the file you have in /opt/picochess/engines/armv7l
Cheers,
Al.
