I can't get the Trixie version of Picochess to connect to my DGT board.
It's like the BT never finds it.
The Bookworm version of Picochess with Pico update to 3.4 will connect.
Any ideas...

I should note... I'm using a Rpi 4B to connect to the DGT board.

... hmm... I did a sudo bluetoothctl and realized my Bluetooth was not turned ON!
So, we're good.

Good news. I also use a Pi 4B and a DGT board. And the Bluetooth connect should be the same in most (if not all) Picochess versions 3.x and 4.x. Happy gaming!

This forum is really a good resource...  I had everything setup on Trixie the way I wanted it. However, I could only get the audio to play through an external speaker and not the speaker in my monitor.
I was trying to setup Alsamixer, visited the DGT folder thinking it might be a setting in the code, No luck.
I then did a search on this forum on "sound". I read through the first file of an issue someone was having, and they mentioned "Raspi-Config" and the light bulb went on!. I simply had to change the audio setting from "headphones" to "vc4-hdmi - 0. "

Randy, thank you for doing the Trixie OS update to Pico.
