where to start ?

im working throught he conversations to understand how I can best approach adding a rasberry pi to my dgt eboard as connecting to mac is a challenge and windows (and mac ) proves to be intermittant.

the goal being to use rasberry Pi / DGT Pi upgraded to play against and online at the usual locations.

is their an idiots guide ?  

seems I need a Pi 4b 8gb  -with heat management, bluetooth dongle, bookworm and picochess and then i use it as a computer to link to the board via bluetooth and browser ( chrome ? ) to the online engines OR use the picochess engines ?

For playing online (chess.com, lichess.org), I suggest getting the ChessConnect extension and installing it in your web browser. It is reported by the developer to work with MAC'S. It will allow online play with your e-board independent of a Raspberry Pi. I've been using it on both websites and it is much improved over the DGT LiveChess Driver which had issues with casting, king in check, moves on chess.com. 

I believe the Raspberry Pi has some functionality to play other opponents remotely, but does not allow play on either of the above mentioned chess websites. 

RPi4b if you want to use Picochess with a DGT Pi (no heat control required). RPi5 can be used for the WEB version of Picochess without the need for a DGT Pi or a wired DGT 3000 clock. 

In summation, 1) Install the ChessConnect extension for you browser for online play, 2) Install Picochess 3.2 on you Raspberry Pi for play against the 50+ chess engines.

Hola, soy prácticamente nuevo tanto en Raspberry, como en tableros DGT, casi ambos descubiertos a la vez y la verdad es que somos unos cuantos los que estamos teniendo ya problemas de conexión por bluetooth, 

yo incluso e tenido que enchufar el móvil por cable al tablero y encima me limita el jugar en diferentes modos, no podía jugar on line.

En un principio deberían de ser los drivers del tablero comentamos todos, pero no soy capaz de jugar en diferentes modos de juego en un mismo dispositivo.

Y tengo conocidos que también tiene el mismo problema, 

Yo quisiera saber cómo se podría actualizar  a la versión, y preguntar qué contenido contiene, para saber qué es lo necesito
