Hi Everyone,

I have updated the Desktop and Lite images. There are some updated engines (Stash, ShashChess, lc0, and Crystal). MAME is now at v0.286 and the OS files are up-to-date. I have also added the missing syzygy tablebase files.

Hi Everyone,

I forgot to mention that the original release [27 Feb 2026] of the v4 Lite image based on DietPi OS had an issue with the apt cache folders missing (because I scrub the images before uploading). This would cause OS software updates to fail (i.e. when running 'sudo apt update'). The fix is/was to run the command 'sudo mkdir -p /var/cache/apt/archives/partial'. If you downloaded the [05 Mar 2026] Lite image this fix doesn't apply. Thanks to Henri for notifying/reminding me.
