Hi Rizwan,

We're thinking along those exact same lines! We plan to extend our Function Publishing feature (http://blog.picloud.com/2011/09/14/introducing-function-publishing-via-rest/) to allow users to publish their functions either publicly or to a whitelist of users. There will also be an option to specify who pays for the work. Do you have a specific class of functions that you plan on sharing?

I'd like to publish the function; but obviously not give them access
to the underlying code.

My type of function publishing would be a mapreduce of a webscrape;
but the quota being in place to prevent abusive behavior.
