Hi everybody

I heard a lot on EMACS editor and its configuration for Picat.
There is a popular text editor called Geany  to provide a small and fast IDE, maybe the main reason of its popularity. https://www.geany.org/

Considering only the syntax-highlighting for Picat in Geany
I adapted two files in its configuration to support Picat. These
modifications  has started from Erlang language.
Maybe some keywords are missing yet ...

The files and instructions are in:
or attach

I hope that Geany users enjoy it!

Hi Claudio,

The Geany editor looks really cool. Have you tried your Picat configuration on Windows?

Thanks,
Neng-Fa

I believe that is works in Windows, you just need to find
where are the configuration files of Geany.

Normally, the Windows install its application under an unique directory.
So you need to find this directory and replace these files, the
structure of Geany is the same for Linux.

Please let me know if works

Thanks, Claudio! It works now. I had to copy the configuration files to the following directories:

copy filetype_extensions.conf c:\Users\nzhou\AppData\Roaming\geany\
copy filetypes.Picat.conf c:\Users\nzhou\AppData\Roaming\geany\filedefs\

Here is a screenshot of my first Picat program written with geany.

Cheers,
Neng-Fa
