Picasa Starter with Google Drive

I have a large google drive with tons of family photo's...  Is there a way to have Picasa Starter work with a google drive?

Hi Andy:

I will look into it in a couple of days.  My first impression that I don't think so, Picasa maps the folders on your computer to a database and it only knows drives and folders to map in the database.

Since this is a shared drive between family members, it would be awesome for everyone to contribute to peoples names and put them into the Picasa db that resides on that Google drive… That way, everyone shares and contributes…  It is a shame that Google doesn’t offer this, it would be incredibly useful for family genealogy and tracking of family members names!
