Use this for any hardware related discussions. All of the
documentation is on line at:

Hi All, I will see if I can start the group off and make this like the
Arduino forum.

So far I have found the Bv513 / Pic32 Basic to be useful, But with a
few bugs.
Compared to the standard Ardunio I`ve found it powerful and easy to
use.
I really love the Pic32 Basic scheduling functions, which makes
running multiple tasks effortless.

I also like this device, the on board storage via microSD is great.
Is it possible to place a list of the bugs/features with work rounds
on this group?

Also like the Arduino it would be nice to have code & hardware
interface examples, I will try and put a few together myself.

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian , I totally agree with all your points , Hint Hint Jim.

So are you a follow Ardunio tinkerer too then ?

I think this is a good start to making a community for Pic32 basic and
the BV513 and showing what we can make from it .
To be honest the Ardunio hardware is not good at all, it’s the
community of ideas and advice which makes the platform.
I keep finding some strange bugs with Pic32 Basic, but if no one ever
finds then I guess they can’t be fixed.

I keep sending Jim any Bugs I find , I guess I’m a bit of a pain with
my found a new bug e-mails, But I believe it’s best inform of any
problems, so this can be fixed.

Yes I tinker with the Arduino as well

It can be a bit limited, but its got its place and as you rightly say
its the community that stretches its limits and makes it popular, oh and
its open source :-)

I don't mind getting bug lists and if I have time I will also try and
verify them for you

Sadly the dark nights approach, meaning I will have the time for this
and other projects. Maybe some code examples etc.
