Hi Friends—
Glade Valley Community Services is once again planning their Holiday Toy Shoppe for families needing assistance.
Some notes about the details: Middle and high school students receive gift cards, sweatshirts, and a book. For younger kids, toys are set out by age group for the parents to “shop.” If you sign up for a toy, it’s important that you get one single item in the $20-$40 range.
All gifts must be returned to the church office UNWRAPPED, with the number attached, so that we can match them with the appropriate mitten. Deadline for returning gifts is Sunday, December 1.
Since we have less than a month to turn these around, I’ve started electronic signup sheets. You can find them here:
I had to do two separate signup lists because of restrictions on the free account. 🤷♂️
You do not need to create an account—or even enter your email address—to sign up for these gifts. But you will probably want to write down what you signed up for, as it does not send a confirmation! I can also retrieve the information for you, if need be. 😊
