Greetings all & a huge thank you in advance for your time if you decide to weigh in.
- A sometimes client of mine is inquiring to what his pianos value is.
- A S&S ex-player (L) rebuilt, w/ shanks & hammer & refinished 20+ years ago.
- Orig repetitions.
- It was converted from its orig double leg in the 1960’s when his parents purchased it, the 3rd leg conversion was poorly executed.
Current condition:
- Avg wear to the 20 yr old Ronsen hammers
- The sounding board is MINT, which I’ve observed COUNTLESS times in S&S ex-players.
- The 20+ yr old ebony finish is in GOOD/OK shape w/ no major scratches or damage.
- The XL long keys & action is still present.

Thanks again & here’s a few pics

-cheers

SORRY,
The tuning pins are uniformly tight as per a 20+ yr old rebuild, was strung with Mapes wire & bass string with more than AMPLE room to drive down the tuning pins further.

Thanks again

-cheers

John,

Are you sure that this piano is not an XR?  XR's are 6'2" and use a Steinway M scaling and plate.
