Hi, I have been lucky until now, not having an active Young Chang dealer in my area I see very few of them & haven't needed to call their service number, until now.
I have a customer who bought one of their 15 YO Chinese built grand's with plastic pedal brackets that have begun to squeak!
I've tried a few different things if they don't have a better replacement, I'll make some myself out of wood & felt like they should have been in the first place!

I digress anyone have a current phone number for the service department at Young Chang?

Thanks, Mike

That's what I always had to do. End of problem (at least that one).

I looked back in my mail(gmail archives all of my list mail) & saw that number from 2012, I thought perhaps it had been updated since it seemed to change fairly often.

Thanks Paul, Mike

You called it Ron, all they have is replacement brackets made of the same crap, the guy I talked to says it glo--something a rubber product.
I told him to keep them I'll make some out of wood & line the holes with felt!

Another case of planned obsolescence!!!

I don't see the point of that, but there is a lot of unrealistically
optimistic faith in artificial materials. Action parts have worked out
well after a poor start, and Ecsaine is better than buckskin, but pinned
hinges still don't have a very good record. How about drilling out and
cloth bushing the originals? That'd show 'em.

And I still have a couple of the Kimball pedal blocks made from pinblock
material. Split proof.

According to the 2015 PTG Membership Directory, Young Chang North America contact is

6000 Phyllis Dr
Cypress  CA   90630
657-200-3490 (parts)

That's probably about as current as anyone is going to find. Good luck.
