REVISION OF AIRPORT CHARGES WEF 01JAN2012 - UPDATED

Reference our emails dated December 30, 2011 on the subject.

 

Please note that in order to facilitate smooth collection of the revised/new charges CAA, Pakistan has deferred the implementation date to January 16, 2012 instead of January 01, 2012 as advised earlier.

 

In view of the foregoing please note following details with respect to the revised charges w.e.f. January 16, 2012:

 

1.  The revised /  new charges will not apply on passengers travelling prior to January 16, 2012.

 

2.  However, tickets issued now/before January 16, 2012 with travel on / after January 16, 2012 will be subject to the revised / new charges.

 

Therefore, till such time system is updated collection shall be done under code "YQ" as already advised or any such arrangement deemed appropriate by Revenue Management.

 

3.  If passengers are already holding tickets and travel is on / after January 16, 2012, the revised / new charges be collected at the airport.

 

All other conditions remain unchaged.

 

Please inform all concerned to strictly adhere to the above instructions.
