A build of version 1.0-RC (Release Candidate) is AVAILABLE now. 

The codebase for this release candidate has been merged down in to the 'master' branch.
Only critical bugs will be addressed in the 1.0 release candidate.

All new features, enhancements, and minor bug fixes are now contributed in the 1.1-SNAPSHOT builds and maintained in the 'develop' branch.
