We should all be able to invite new members by using the "invite
members" link on the left side of the web interface.
You'd be unable to do so from an email though.
I suggest using the web interface almost exclusively, and turning off
email alerts in the "edit my membership" link. Otherwise you will fill
your inbox rather quickly.
