Temporary delays in scoring for Challenge server maintenance

Dear Challengers,
Due to upcoming server maintenance for servers used by the PhysioNet Challenge, we will be unable to score submissions and provide feedback until later next week.
You do not need to resubmit entries that you have already submitted, and you do not need to stop submitting entries, but it will take us a few extra days to score submissions and to provide feedback on submissions after server maintenance completes. We will email you with feedback about your submissions and update the leaderboard for successful submissions once we have started running entries again, so there is no need to check for updates; a quick check of the leaderboard will provide you with the latest information.
Like every year, we receive increasing numbers of submissions and requests as deadlines approach, so we may not be able to provide as much and as timely feedback near the deadlines as we do before the deadlines; please submit entries earlier than later. To manage available resources, we may need to de-prioritize teams that submit multiple entries in a 24 hour period. Also, due to available resources, teams that request the small version of the training set are likely to receive feedback faster than teams that request the large version of the training set, and teams that do not request GPUs are likely to receive feedback faster than teams that request GPUs.
We have extended the wild-card entry deadline from 31st July 2026 to 7th August 2026 because of this delay. The teams without an accepted CinC abstract and/or a successful unofficial phase submission that submit the highest-scoring entries by the wild-card deadline can qualify for Challenge rankings and prizes:

The official phase deadline is 20th August 2026.

We may post parts of our reply publicly if we feel that all Challengers should benefit from it. We will not answer emails about the Challenge to any other address. This email is maintained by a group. Please do not email us individually.
