Dear challenge organizers,
I have two questions concerning the dataset and paper:

1) The page limit says 4 pages. Does this include references?

2) When patients have a bad outcome and died, is there any information available about whether they died naturally or due to withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment? This can be a large source of error in our models and I want to make sure I correctly discuss this properly in the paper.

Thank you.

Dear Charlotte,

Good questions.

Yes, the 4-page limit for the conference proceedings papers includes the references. Please see this webpage for resources, including a template and checklist, for preparing your paper:

Unfortunately, we don't have more precise information about the cause of death, including whether or not deceased patients received life-sustaining treatment up to the time of death. The neurological outcomes, including death, were generally determined 3-6 months after cardiac arrest.

Best,
Matt
