Regarding Submission Numbering and Repository Cloning Process

Hi,

I have two questions about the submission process:

1. Submission Number:

   • Is it possible to include a unique submission number along with the confirmation email when we submit the form?

   • Having that number would help us track turnaround time and know roughly when our entry will be evaluated.

2. Automated Repository Cloning and Resubmissions:

   • Once I submit my entry, does the system immediately clone my GitHub repository?

   • If so, would that allow me to update my code and submit a second version (e.g., within a day or two) while the first submission is still pending review?

Dear Shyamal,

That’s a good idea! Teams will now receive a notification email with their submission ID shortly after they complete the submission form.

You can modify the repository after submitting an entry, but we will run the version of your code in the repository at the time of submission. So if you submit, then modify, then submit again, we will run both versions.
