Dear Challengers,

CinC 2025 is approaching in a few short weeks. Most of you have already received your final scores from the official phase, and the rest of you will receive them approximately by tomorrow.

As a quick reminder, please complete this form by 28 August 2025 to choose your favorite entry for evaluation on the test set; if you do not choose an entry, then we will choose your highest-scoring entry from the official phase:
https://forms.gle/zKwhcG34tJi6Z1PR7

As you prepare your preprints and presentations and pack your bags, you may be wondering about your opportunities to engage with the Challenge at the conference. Fortunately, as in past years, we are hosting a Hackathon where we invite and expect teams to collaborate for one last shot at the Challenge problem. If you participated in the Challenge and will arrive at the conference a little early, then please feel free to join us on Sunday, September 14 at 11:30 AM for the Hackathon:
https://cinc2025.eventos.ufabc.edu.br/physionet-hackaton-2/

You will need to complete this form for building access, so if you are considering joining us, then please register by 30 August 2025:

Best,
Matt

Dear Kelvin,

The PhysioNet Challenge Hackathon will start at 11:00 AM Brazilian Standard Time (BST) and end at 18:00 PM BST. Teams that would like to participate in the Hackathon should join us at 11:00 AM BST, but they can come and go afterwards, including to the Sunday Symposium. All teams should submit their entries by 23:59 PM BST on the day of the Hackathon.

The Hackathon is intended for teams that participated in the PhysioNet Challenge 2025. If you did not participate in this year's Challenge but are interested in the Challenge, please attend the Challenge sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons to learn more.

Please see this page for information about the location of the Hackathon:
https://cinc2025.eventos.ufabc.edu.br/physionet-hackaton-2/

If you would like to attend the Hackathon, then please ensure that you have completed this form, which is required for entry to the InCor building hosting the Hackathon. Please do not wait to register so that the local organizers can have your information ahead of time:

Dear Challengers,

The Hackathon is underway. Here's some quick additional information we gave out today (in case you missed it).

1. You are allowed up to *two* successful entries. Unsuccessful entries do not count towards your total.
2. Your code must run to completion by 23:59 on Tuesday (local time in Sao Paulo).
3. James is on standby today to respond to your submissions or questions. You can email him using in...@physionetchallenges.org
to request a 1:1 debug session - or just drop in to this Zoom room and hope he isn't taking a break.
(You may end up in a waiting room if someone else is already in a debug session with James.)
Here's the Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/93048301515
4. Submission link: http://tinyurl.com/pnch2025
5. You can submit pre-trained models that you update during the training process, including your entries into the Challenge.
6. Take a look at the preprints (talks and posters): https://cinc.org/prelim_program_2025/
7. You can form new teams (with new names) or use your old team. We are happy for you to mix and match, and borrow ideas from other people (with credit).
8. You don't have to be physically present today to enter a team and win, but you have to be physically present at the closing ceremony on Wednesday if you want to claim the prize money.

Good luck!

Gari
