Scored sleep labels mapping

Hey,

the sleep scoring is saved in a seperate EDF file as signals, is there a documentation what signal value means which respiratory event, sleep stage, ... ?

Thank you for your questions about the 2026 Challenge data.

Yes, the Challenge website has Algorithmic Annotations and Human Annotations sections that describe the contents and organization of the EDF files that contain the sleep scores and other annotations. The example code provides examples of how to load and use these annotations (try searching for "sleep" in the team_code" file). We have updated the website to make the variable names in the EDF files clearer, so please review these sections of the website and check the example code.
