The feedback today on our last submission (on the 25'th) was very helpful. Based on this, we would like to modify our code and make a few additional submissions. Under the Key dates/deadlines, it states that if more than one submission is made in the final 24 hours, you may only be able to score one of them. When exactly is the deadline?
I apologize for cutting it so close to the deadline, but as I said, the feedback on the validation data has been a tremendous help in refining our approach.
Thank you,
Allan

Hi Allan,

Thanks for the kind words!  The window for submissions is up until the hiatus, which begins at 1ms past midnight (in your time zone) on 1 September 2023.

That means you have until 23:59 and about 59.5 seconds (depending on your ping times) on the 31st August to submit your final entry.  We will do our best to run as many algorithms as we can but we won't be able to provide support for failed entries, or even guarantee running every entry on the last day. (If anyone wants to donate money to help resource the construction of our fully automated system, we're receptive :) ). We strongly urge everyone to submit their entries asap!

Good luck everyone!

Dear Challengers,

We are happy to announce that we are extending the submission deadline for this year's Challenge by 3 days.  That means you have until 23:59 and about 59.5 seconds (depending on your ping times) on the 3rd September in your time zone to submit your final entry.

Please note that all other rules still apply.  We will do our best to run as many algorithms as we can but we won't be able to provide support for failed entries during this period, or even guarantee running every entry.  (With 73 teams eligible to enter up to 730 submissions, it's unlikely we'll be able to run all of these to completion before CinC, so we prioritize one entry a day from each team in the order we receive them. Of course, if some teams don't submit any entries, we can run more than one a day for some teams.)   Please remember,  we will prioritize the entries in order of submission, so we strongly urge everyone to submit their entries ASAP! Your best chance for support in case of failed entries is still today and tomorrow. Even the Challenge team deserves a holiday and it's a national holiday here in the US this weekend!

Please also note that this isn't the last chance to enter the Challenge - we have added a hackathon, which will take place on the 1st October, and for which you must pre-register.
Please see here for more information and a link to the registration page:

Good luck everyone, and we're looking forward to hosting you in Atlanta very soon!
