Hi,

Since I just finished a fourth app, I thought I’d let you know in case you want to use any of these for your classes (demos or activities). They will work on all the computers/browsers that support HTML5 (whereas your favorite Java app is probably blocked by iCIT settings.) They will also work on iPads and iPhones. They will even work on Android phones! They are rather fun to play with on touch devices.

Full list of my apps at:

Newton’s 2nd Law equation:

Centripetal force equation:
(I used speed rather than velocity since the equation was dealing with magnitudes, but the animated graphic shows the vectors.)

Minkowski Space-Time diagram:

Lorentz length contraction and time dilation:

Let me know if you have any suggestions, comments or special requests. Any ideas on if I should publicize these? I mostly put them together for my classes but others may find them useful.

Steve
