about specific capacitance of battery

How calculate specific capacitance (mAh/g)of battery by taking values of voltage and current from potentiostat at galvanostatic mode.

the specific capacity (mAh/g) = current (mA) * time (h) / weight of active material (g)

usually potentiostat will give mAh values as capacity (mA h or Ah) then you can convert it to specific capacity (mA h/g) according to your electrode material weight.


note:

In case of capacitor use specific capacitance (F/g) = current (mA) * time (s) / voltage (V) * weight of active material (g)
