(I was going to ressurect the old post but it had tons of messages on
it and had turned into another discussion entirely :))

The game Im working on is a platformer that Ive tried to make similar
to Little Big Planet. You can run and jump and grab hold of things and
push and pull and swing on them. Have a look at it here:
http://boxycraft.wordpress.com/

Some of the hardest parts have been getting the characters to react
well to controls and physics and at the same time seeming "alive". Ive
got it the main part of it working but Im still tweaking it and fine
tuning.

Another challenging thing has been making "non-physics" items like
switches and motors and making them integrate well with the physics
part of the game.

Anyway thats me, and please show what you've been doing too!

Wow, that is looking amazing; love to try out a prototype/demo of it.
I myself have nothing to show, I've had to to put my hobby projects on
the shelf while I slave away on work related projects. So you know I
can get rich; well okay just being able to pay all my bills would
do ;-)

That is cool! Are you using Physics2D.Net? Because I see no mention of
it on your site.

Yes it is Physics2D.NET with few modifications(the 2 joint classes and
water logic class that I put under files)

And I am using DirectX and Visual Basic for the graphics and the
programming.

That is awesome. But do you plan to add links to Physics2D.net or give
it any credit?

HI Jono sorry about that I did have a link to Physics2D.net in the
About section of the blog, but I suppose thats not really the right
place so I just added one on the main page too.

I didnt mean it to look like I wasnt giving credit, to the contrary
using this engines been great and everyone in the discussions too!

Man It looks like all you need is a little music and maybe more sound
effects and you will have a complete game ready for sell.
