Hello there, I was checking my google account security settings and I found out that "iOS Account Manager" is connected to my account but I've no idea what it is. I tried to log out from my account on my iPhone but when I log into YouTube it still appears (so it might can be related to yt but idk why). I also logged into safari and when I check for new logins in my google account setting it just says that safari is connected. You guys have any ideas on what this account manager is? sorry for my bad english.

My home network, windows 10 pc, and Iphone was recently hacked. I have been (and am continuing) working with my wireless carrier and my ISP to resolve it all. I Just a few minutes ago signed back into gmail account via the gmail app for the first time in over a week, and after the genius bar wiped my devices clean & reinstalled software; and after my phone number and sim card have been changed. I have been checking all of my gmail account settings to secure the account. after being logged in for 29 minutes someone else logged in on an iphone located in the city where I live. I investigated and indicated to google I didnt recognize the device so google signed me out of it. Next I saw 2 additional active unknown devices signed in - 1 being an ipad and 1 an iphone - neither are mine. Both of these say IOS Account Manager. Interestingly, I just now noticed under my iphone's active connection it has my correct iphone name, correct location and says IOS ACCOUNT MANAGER underneath! under that there is a checkmark indicating this iphone connection is the phone I am currently using!

I do not know what this IOS Account Manager is, but it might explain why the passwords on many of my other (non google related) are "incorrect", and do not work. I use a password manager and always make changes to passwords inside the password manager. I know someone has been changing my passwords - I am not sure how. maybe this IOS Account Manager is the culprit - if I only knew what it is!!

I will continue following this thread and will post if I find out anything new. Incidently last night I changed my wifi network name and password, signed out of wifi then signed in again to make sure it was working. This morning the password was not recognized so I have updated via the router, signed out and am now signed back in. If it gets changed again I am going to scream ?!

It is none of those things. You may have spyware on your phone if you have a profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management, or if someone had physical possession of your phone while it was unlocked, but that has nothing to do with iOS Account Manager, which is a Google service that protects your google apps on your phone from being hacked.

The iOS Account Manager is Google Account Manage platform for iOS, which protects your account from hackers when logging in on your iOS device and using Google apps and services. It also reminds you that your Google account is being used on an iOS device.

Is there any way to have a phone conversation ? I have reset these thing 3 times over 2 weeks .But they keep going back to an old back up, I think ? Like within the day ? I think some how I am under the control of Google Admin and Microsoft Admin? I keep changing the passwords ?! Does no good!

In these dark times we have of course had to only stick to a skeleton crew keeping maintenance, a safari team and individuals from each department to really finish off tasks not yet completed on the admin side and to get everything completely organised, counted and shelved. So for April I will keep this team and then at the end of the month further reduce it to a small practical team that can still keep things going. If there are no lockdowns then teams will be rotated. There will still be pipes broken, holes to be dug, problems here, there, and everywhere as normal.

We are slowly coming into Autumn now and it really is the best time of the year; warm to hot days, but cool nights and early mornings. Having said that we have just had 30mm of rainfall over the last few days which is so needed to see the animals through the dry winter months.

Our marketing teams will continue as best they can also locked down. I feel this will end up whereby travelling on sales calls will become a thing of the past and Skype etc will all take over. Social contact and forming relationships though is so important so maybe a reduction in travelling! I wish them and their families best wishes and thanks!

To our reservations teams who have spent long hours trying to re-book guests and juggle dates around and keep in line with new T&Cs for this time; it is not easy so please give them space and a bit of time.

Garonga will remain closed to the public until 30th June. I will then make a decision as to when to reopen depending of course on flights coming in, and the general travel situation around the globe. Our reservations teams will remain open for bookings however throughout. We will keep you informed of all changes.

Game drives are at the heart of the Garonga experience, allowing you to encounter the Big 5 and other wildlife up close. Your stay will typically include a morning and afternoon game drive in our open-air Land Rovers. Two of our experienced and qualified guides will lead you through the bush, impressing you with their knowledge of the great variety of wildlife in the reserve. Their tracking skills are exceptional, giving them the advantage of locating animals based on their recent movements and enabling your safari sightings dreams to come true. On a morning game drive, as the animals are waking up, tuck into tea, coffee and snacks in the bush. Then, in the late afternoon, sip on a cocktail or glass of wine as the sun slowly dips below the horizon. In addition to the Big 5 (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino), look out for cheetah, spotted hyena, black rhino, African wild dog, hippos, crocodiles, diverse plains animals and colourful birdlife.

Virtually all our clients ask about tipping on safari. Like anything to do with money, perspectives on gratuities are shaped by so many different factors, including your culture, the culture you are visiting, your personal relationship with money, your expectations of service, and prevailing social norms.

Bear in mind that a major cost for owners is housing, feeding, clothing and medically caring for staff who must live on the property for weeks or months at a time. Workers cannot catch a bus or train home to their apartments at the end of their shifts and they cannot work a second job either.

Located in the main area or mess tent, this is the easiest option as you simply put your tip into a locked box. Sometimes there are separate boxes for front- and back-of-house staff. The manager generally shares out the accumulated tips in intervals. Sometimes there is one box for your guide and tracker and another for all other staff. This system eliminates any awkwardness about handing over money and does not allow staff to know how much specific guests tipped them.

South Africa is the only country where you can reliably draw money from ATMs or cash machines, which makes tipping in South Africa rather effortless. For the rest of the safari destinations in Africa, bring cash along with you.

After signing up for a password manager, you'll be prompted to create a master password. Your master password should be a strong password or passphrase that you can remember but haven't used for any other logins. The master password is the one password you need to access your password manager vault. The next step is to download the app or browser extension to the devices you plan to use the service on. You can also opt to use the web-based user interface if you prefer (if offered by the service you choose).

Once you've signed up and gotten acquainted with the app, start adding passwords and other vault items you want to keep secure. If you have passwords stored in a web browser or other password manager, you can easily import them to the new password manager. You also can manually enter the login credentials, or you can have your password manager automatically save your credentials when you log into one of your online accounts. Once you've got your passwords saved, you can use your password manager to autofill the login credentials for the accounts you have stored in your vault.

Password managers are extremely attractive targets for cybercriminals -- and yes, they can be hacked. All of the password managers listed above operate on a zero-knowledge approach to password management, meaning that not even the company storing your vault data can decrypt the information contained within. Only the user can decrypt and access their vault. Similarly, the password managers featured above don't have access to your master password.

All of this makes it difficult for an attacker to gain access to the passwords and other items in your vault. In the case of the 2022 LastPass breach, attackers were able to steal encrypted user vaults. So all the attacker would need to do is crack the master password for a stolen vault to access everything inside, which would be an easy task if the master password is weak. The best way to protect your data in case of a similar breach is to create a strong master password.

A strong password should ideally be a minimum of 12 characters. You can also create passphrases that consist of randomly strung-together words. The best password managers offer customizable password generators that you can use to create truly random passwords and passphrases based on the criteria you select. The longer and more complex the password or passphrase, the better.

There are a few legitimate free password manager options for anyone who wants to securely store their passwords without paying a dime. Bitwarden is CNET's recommendation for the best free password manager. NordPass is another option and if you're more technically inclined, you can go with KeePass, which is completely free and unlimited but not as easy to use as many others.
