Hello,

It's been brought to my attention that something in a new version of Mac/Java makes pG crash if you're trying to build a tree in BEAST. The solution is to install the latest version of Java (here: https://java.com/en/download/help/mac_install.xml), which fixed it on the Mac I was testing.

Linux users should also use the latest version of pG on GitHub, which contains a fix for Java as well; running "git pull" if you've cloned the pG repository is sufficient, you need change nothing else.

PCs (or at least the one I have tested) appear unaffected by this.

Thank you Shinchi Tatsumi and Akira Mori for bringing this to my attention! I have very limited access to Mac computers, so if you find a problem with the program on Mac (or any platform, for that matter!) please bring it to my attention!

Cheers,

Will
