Version 1.3 release candidate

Hello,

The release candidate for the new Windows version of pG is online here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/cetncocalavka0y/phyloGenerator_1-3-rc.zip?dl=0). I get my hands on a Mac laptop on Tuesday, and so the Mac version will be online soon. I will email again once I update the website with the final copy of version 1.3. This should be faster to download sequences from GenBank, and is migrated over to the HTTPS API for it.

I want to say a massive thank you to Lucas Barrientos (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia) for all his help with this (see another thread on this list). He's been an absolute hero, both drawing my attention to a bug and then checking the release candidate to see that it works well for him. Thank you!

Hello all,

The new version for Windows and Mac (v1.3) is now uploading to the website as I type. This wouldn't be possible without the support of all the users who've been emailing me with suggestions and requests, so thank you all! I'm also grateful to Jon Rich and Bonnie Waring who have helped me compile and test the Mac version.
