Problem to download from NCBI

Hi,
I have a problem to download sequences in fasta. I used PG and everything was ok. But since the Friday I try to download some samples and I have this error and never get the sequences.
I also use my old files (that I know that are ok and work) and I get the same error.

Hello Lucas,

Thanks for getting in touch, and I'm sorry you're having trouble with the program. I can confirm that this affects Windows computers, but not Linux computers (and I don't have a Mac to check that). What kind of computer are you on?

GenBank plan to make changes that could stop the current release of phyloGenerator downloading sequences (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/news/06-10-2016-ncbi-https/). The given date for this is the 30th of September, but given you're having this problem I think it's possible it's somehow coming online faster than I thought.

It's simple for me to fix this but to do so I need access to a Windows and Mac computer. I will fix this for Windows and then email the mailing list; if anyone happens to have a Mac computer and is feeling generous I would love a bit of help! :D

Here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/cetncocalavka0y/phyloGenerator_1-3-rc.zip?dl=0) is a link to a Windows version that should work for you. I'd be grateful if you could try it and get back to me. I've put some mild improvements in the download steps as well, so hopefully there will be fewer server problems for everyone!

Linux is unaffected by this, but Mac is. I'm still looking for a Mac to get everything going on; I'm about to ask on social media etc...
