Happy to report that I got the Open Data Catalog up and running at:
http://catalog.phxdata.org

For reference, the code lives here:
https://github.com/phxdata/Open-Data-Catalog
and this is the code behind Open Data Philly:
http://www.opendataphilly.org/

It's evident that quite a bit of work will need to be done to make
this polished and useful. It comes out of the box with minimal
styling, broken links, and some Open Data Philly-specific config.

It would be great if we could figure out a good way for people to
contribute (front end/template work, etc.) who are not necessarily
Django & git gurus... if anyone has any brilliant ideas on how to
facilitate that, please share.

Thanks for setting this up, Aaron ! I'm looking forward to checking
out what we might be able to do with it..

Cool. Should we set up a Basecamp or Pivotal Tracker? I think Heather
offered to help on the frontend. Anyone else?

This might be something to promote at WhereCampPHX.  We should have something usable by Oct 1st.  It's an opportunity we shouldn't miss.

Totes can help with front-end stuff. My time in the next few weeks might be limited (finishing my internship, moving cross-country, starting a new job, plus I just got recruited to help with ONA's conference site), but I don't think we'd need to do a whole ton to get up a bare-bones, clean interface by Oct. 1, and we could beef it up after that.

+1 to Basecamp. +2 to PivotalTracker.
