This seems like something we can set up for Phoenix.

https://github.com/azavea/Open-Data-Catalog

This is the code used for http://opendataphilly.org/

That's a great suggestion. I'd love to see us set up something like that for Phoenix.

Any developers other than Mark...interested in helping set this up?

I'm close friends with the azavea guys so count me in. They'll be geeked up if we implement it.

Haven't looked at it yet, but it sounds like something Curtis has been pushing for for a while. What language is it in? I can quickly/easily hang it off of PHXdata.org if it's php.

We never started using the wiki, which could probably also be used for this, although I'm sure this is a more custom-tailored solution.

It's Python/Django

Cool. We set up a slice for the boundary service...which is Django/
Python. I would imagine we could build this on there. Aaron and
Heather...What would you guys need to get started?

Brain...what Wiki? Maybe I missed that.

Just the root password, if the goal at this stage is simply to get it
installed with default configuration. And the domain or IP of the VPS.

Aaron could set up the backend...I would imagine it would need some
frontend work?

FYI Andrew, got the password from you, but I don't know the URL/IP
address of this box. Waiting on that here or via email.

I was out of the office and couldn't respond to your email. Do you
have what you need now?

Also...the Boundary service is on that slice. Let me know if they
aren't compatible.

There's no reason I can think of that they shouldn't be compatible,
but Aaron may need to know a little about the way I set it up (nginx +
gunicorn) in order to proceed. Aaron - just ask the questions either
on or off list and I'll answer as quickly as possible.

Also, for the purposes of collaboration, can we put the code in the
phxdata github account ? Aaron - if you'd like I can make you an admin
for the phxdata github organisation to make this possible..

I also have a Basecamp account if that is of any use to anyone.

I deployed a Flask app not too long ago, and I chose to go with nginx
+ gunicorn. So I'm familiar with that setup.

Andrew, yeah I have everything I need.

Re: Github, yeah, make me an admin please. I'll fork from the original
repo and pull from/push to the forked repo.
