[phusion-passenger] nginx + passenger + sinatra-- how can I create an upload progress bar?

Hi all,

I'm trying to put a file upload progress bar into my sinatra-based web
application. I've built the application on top of nginx and
passenger, mainly because apache gave me a headache when I tried to
make it work.

I can't find a guide to do this. I've found many for passenger +
apache, as well as passenger + rails.

Is there a guide somewhere I can use to do this, or can someone help
me?

I'm rendering using haml, if that matters.
