Failure to compile Apache 2 module (Passenger 3.0.9)

Hello,

I am trying to install Passenger 3.0.9 on my RHEL box. I have
installed the gem but when I run `sudo passenger-install-apache2-
module` it fails with `cc1plus: error: unrecognized command line
option "-Wno-missing-field-initializers"`.

My box has gcc version 3.4.6 20060404 (Red Hat 3.4.6-11).

Is the solution to upgrade gcc?
