Fund-a-thon Reminder - TOMORROW 2/20!

Dear Panther Band Families,

TOMORROW, February 20th, is our Fund-a-thon Fundraiser in partnership with Fundraising University.

This is a one-hour blitz funding campaign through a mobile giving platform.

Band students from both PHSN & LVJH are expected to participate and be in attendance for the event.  Each student should have brought home last week a Purple Potential Supporters sheet to generate contacts for this event.  The goal is for students to be armed with as many potential contacts as possible (minimum 10,  goal of 30).

Event details:

• WHAT:  Fund-a-thon
• WHEN:  Thursday, February 20, 2025 - 6:15pm (student arrival); 6:30pm-7:30pm (fundraising event)
• WHERE:  PHSN Black Box Theater - Room 305 (Change of location!) - Enter through Door L next to Band Room
• WHAT:  Fundraising event with student account credit; DINNER PROVIDED (Pancake dinner)

Students should bring to the event tomorrow:

• Filled in Purple Potential Supporters sheet with contacts.
• Charged cell phone.

This is a fundraiser for both the Band Boosters and student accounts, with a 50/50 split of profits.  Students can earn credits in their Band account to use towards trips, fees, uniforms, etc.

We advise that you alert your potential donor supporters that will be receiving contacts with a pre-text tonight or tomorrow morning.  A pre-populated text is available below to copy and paste to send:

Hello this is __________ we are doing a fundraiser for my Pickerington North Band this year.

We are trying to raise money to start building up my account for our trip to London next year and future trips as well as day to day cost of being part of the band at Pickerington North.  If you are willing to support, please let me know and I will add you to my list of supporters.  You will receive a text message from me around 6:30pm on Thursday Feb. 20th. You will be able to support my fundraiser in my name to the band department and help me build up a fund. I will get to see your support come in live between 6:30-7:30 that evening. If you are not able to support me on that Thursday that is ok as the fundraiser is active for 7 days.   I will be eligible for cash prizes if I am able to raise the most and hit my goal of $500 raised.
