Trunk or Treat rescheduled

Dear Marching Band Families,

Due to the forecast for tomorrow's weather, Mr. Phalen and I have decided to postpone "Trunk or Treat" until next Thursday, Nov. 1 after marching practice at 6:00.  The 10 day forecast looks like 50's and 60's for next week.  I know it is after Halloween, but I think when it comes to kids and candy, they will be happy to do it any day!  I also know this is the third band activity in one week, but I think we will all enjoy it more if we are not dealing with rain, snow and cold temperatures.   So, keep some Halloween treats out for our band kids, and come to Ponderosa's parking lot next Thursday instead of tomorrow.  Decorate your car, back hatch or trunk, and put some spooky music on your iPod, and come in costume if you would like!

Also, please make sure your son or daughter gives $5.00 to Mr. Phalen for next Tuesday's dinner.  I am going to pick up Subway sandwiches, chips and make lemonade.  If the money is not collected, I won't be able to pay for the sandwiches that I have reserved!
