Hi everyone--I know you are getting quite a few emails and I want to thank you for taking the time to read everything!  If you haven't replied to Betsy Munn's email about dinner tomorrow (Tuesda) then please do so.

Here's the quick rundown of the schedule from now until Thanksgiving:

This week (10/29 to 11/2):
TUESDAY--regular rehearsal 3:15 until 5:00 (early end time); call time for band members for Feeder Concert is 6pm (concert is at 7pm)

WEDNESDAY--Happy Halloween!

THURSDAY--regular rehearsal 4pm to 6pm then Trunk-or-Treat!  Anyone interested in Winter Percussion please feel free to stay to work on skills/technique stuff to prepare for the season.

FRIDAY--quick rehearsal 3:15 until 4pm, load the truck, head to the stadium.  Call time at the stadium is 5:30pm for dinner, then game at 7pm (weather should be good--a little chilly at game time but no rain or anything!)

After that:

Monday 11/5:  Continental League auditions at Highlands Ranch HS, 4pm until ??? (interested students should have already talked to Mr. Phalen)
Tuesday, 11/6:  No school for students (no rehearsals that day)
Thursday, 11/8:  Marching Band rehearsal 3pm to 4pm, Winter Percussion 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Friday, 11/9:  Football Playoff game (unless it is Saturday PM)....more details as they are released

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for anyone participating in the Florida trip on TUESDAY, Nov. 13th at 7pm in the Band Room.  At least one person from each participating family must attend (either student or parent, or both).  This is the same night as Parent-Teacher Conferences, so we'll have our meeting right at the end of that.  The meeting should take no more than an hour.

If we win our first playoff game (which I'm thinking is pretty likely) then our next game would be either Nov. 16th or 17th.

Thanks, everyone!  Don't forget to set clocks back next weekend!

Mr. Phalen
