Thanks, Heidi, for the heads-up!

Fond memories of her and her family; I bought my first pair of (snow) skis (previously only hand-me-downs) from her father...

The years thunder by.
The dreams of youth grow dim where they lie caked in dust on the shelves of patience.
Before we know it, the tomb is sealed.

Heidi,

You are thoughtful to keep us all informed about our classmates.

For some reason Anne & I never crossed paths at PHS, but I remember her as always smiling & energetic whenever I saw her with other classmates.  We talked briefly at one of the reunions, and she was warm & enthusiastic.  I could tell that she was living life to the fullest.

My condolences to all who knew & loved her.

Thank you Heidi, again.   It seems you have the responsibility of passing on the sad news.  Thank you for that.  I have known Anne for over 70 years and her joy for life.   Not knowing she is among us is sad, but her memory will live on as long as we do.

Thank you Heidi.

I regret not knowing Anne outside of school. I recall attending our 50th reunion, my first time back in Rochester since graduation, and Anne coming up to me to say hello as if no time had passed since our last get together. She was so full of life.

Dear Heidi,

Thank you for your daily reading of the paper and for continuing to update us on the passing of our classmates. We only read the Sunday edition of the Democrat and Chronicle now—mainly for Buz to read the funnies and for me to check the death notices.

Anne was indeed a vibrant personality, friendly to everyone, and a wonderful help with our reunions. I am sure she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Best,
Barbara Code
