We have finally finished the distributions for PHREEQC version 3, including PHREEQC, PhreeqcI (GUI), and IPhreeqc (modules for linking to C, C++, and Fortran and COM module). The new version includes charting, pressure dependence of reactions, Peng and Robinson gases, and documentation of all keywords, including USER_GRAPH, PITZER, SIT, RUN_CELLS, COPY, DELETE, INCLUDE$, *_MODIFY, *_RAW, all features of TRANSPORT, all Basic functions, and isotope related keywords.

Dear developers,

I report success in compiling and running some examples with SOLUTION and KINETICS blocks using PHREEQC and IPhreeqc and the Fortran interface, with the Intel compiler (C, C++ and Fortran) version 13.0.1, running Ubuntu 12.04 platform, x86-64 architecture.

I suggest changing the name of the generated IPhreeqc libraries from the .so.0.0.0 or .la name files to a version number that corresponds to the version of the library (like .so.3.0.0 or something alike). The present naming conversion (v. 2 and v. 3 of the libraries having the same name) can cause problems with linking and running a binary using dynamic allocation.

Thank you for all the good work!

Cheers
