Great! Thank you! I've added it to phpVirtualBox in the latest SVN
commit. Since you are familiar with SVN, would you mind downloading
the latest revision and making sure that the Russian translation is
correct? I converted the file to UTF-8 and I hope it didn't alter
anything you entered.

I also noticed some bugs that I will point out to you and the other translators.

*) "Preview" on the details tab was not being properly translated.
*) "Machine Folders" was not being properly translated.

This will be fixed in the next release of phpVirtualBox, which will
include any new translation files.

I did also see that a couple of items were not translated.

Transient Folders

Transient Folders is an odd term. In the VirtualBox gui, it is
translated as 'Временные папки' .. is this correct?

I've done it with 98 revision already.
Looks like 'preview' has a bug, because it's in translation (line 84).
Machine folders too - line 286.

New patch attached. Looks like i've found bug: if you open machine
settings dialog, network tab and choose 'Internal' you can't define
it's name - only choose from empty list (so you can't save
configuration). In GUI you can choose/enter name.
I didn't translated teleporting, because it's not implemented.

Don't worry, I'll work on translation. Just mark it 'beta'.
I suppose enhancement: a way to choose working language from
preferences dialog (like it's in GUI).

IMHO, the best way is using original VBox nls
(http://www.virtualbox.org/browser/trunk/src/VBox/Frontends/VirtualBox/nls).
It's hard now to do that, but it'll be great.

Those translation bugs will be fixed in the next SVN commit.

Even though it looks like you can't define an internal network's name,
if you click on the box and start typing, it should allow you to enter
text. Let me know if you find this is not the case.

The "Teleporting" items should be translated too. Even though you
cannot teleport from phpVirtualBox, someone still may do it from
VBoxManage and the state in phpVirtualBox would switch to
"Teleporting" for example.

I actually did try to use the nls from the VirtualBox source, but I
ran into too many problems trying to parse it. When I get time, I will
try again.

Selecting the language from the GUI is a good idea and I will
implement it in a later version.

Got language choosing dialog. Check patch.
You just have to insert language list to
panes/settingsGlobalLanguage.html line 13 or modify it to automatical
list building.

Thank you.

This sets the language permanently, but I was thinking of just setting
it as a cookie for the web browser. One may already set the permanent
setting in config.php. What do you think?

You're right, cookie is more suitable. Another argument - there might
be problems with writing to language.ini.
