Hello,

I was updated the VirtualBox to beta2 of version 4.1.0.
I tried connecting the phpVirtualBox to it.
The phpVirtualBox displayed alert. See the screenshot.

Detail of alert message text attached.

Thanks.

Hi Kazuharu,

The version of phpVirtualBox that will work with VirtualBox 4.2 (VirtualBox Beta 4.1.x) is checked in to subversion under branches/vbox-svn-4.2. Are you familiar with subversion?

Hi,
Thank you for reply.

I checked out vbox-svn-4.2 branches via svn.
It seems to work.
I will test it.

I have a question.
How many weeks is the release plan for svn-4.2 from GA of VirtualBox 4.1.x?

Thanks.

Hi Kazuharu,

Firstly, I mistakenly thought that VirtualBox marked odd sub versions as development. For some reason I had it in my head that VirtualBox 4.1 beta would become 4.2 GA. I've corrected this in the SVN repository so use branches/vbox-svn-4.1 instead please. I apologize for any inconvenience.

phpVirtualBox 4.1-0 will be released as soon as possible after VirtualBox 4.1.0. There is no set schedule. I imagine it will depend on how fast the translators translate it and if there are any more major changes to VirtualBox 4.1 before it is released. I usually translate all that I can myself - taking translations from the VirtualBox source code. This is still being worked on.

Let me know if you have any more questions at all.

Hi Ian,
Thank you for your answer.
I understand your situation.

I will help you in translation to Japanese and testing it.
I will wait for your preparations.

Thanks.
