Version 2.0 RC1 released

We like to announce the first release candidate of the 2.x branch. With this release we move from a monolithic library to a component based. Because of this it is now possible to use specific components independently of the framework. All components are available on GitHub. Please take a look at the UPGRADE doc for detailed informations howto move a 1.x code base to 2.x.

As next step we try to implement the RC1 in various projects to stabilize the API. If we are ready to release a stable 2.0 we will bump all components to version 1.0. From there each component will have a independent release lifecycle.
