Hi folks,

I've been using your library with the trial license for some time now and so far it's all been working like a charm. But today all words that I checked started to come back as being spelt wrong. Any idea what might be causing this?

Is there a limitation for how long you can use the trial license and is this caused by me running out of time? I'm still in the development and wanted to buy a "Single Server License" once this project was done and ready to move to the live server, but didn't think I'd need one before that.

Thanks for your help!

David

Hi David

If the server can not read the dictionaries - all words will appear to be spelling mistakes.

Give EVERYONE access to READ the phpspellcheck/dictionaries folder and all files and sub-directories inside.

I have this problem too and I have given everyone read access, as suggested, but the problem still exists. Any further suggestions?

Hi Joe

This issue is ocassionally caused by your source-control changing the new-line encoding of the dictionary files.
The correct line ending is CRLF.  Apache ant and git can be set to automatically change line ending encodings - breaking the dictionary file.

Re-download the dictionary file - and try again.

Happy coding Joe.
