Hello again!
The new version, available as usual from
http://phpshow.panmental.de,
features a new XML listing assistant. The assistant, called by adding
"?lister" after the script's name, lets you add a text description and
link individually to every photo. These details can then be saved as
an XML file. Put in the same directory as the photos, phpshow will
then display the descriptions and link to the URL given. See here for
example:
http://panmental.de/public/photos%202006/ALifeX_Calif/00slideshow.php?lister
Best,
Johannes
For those who are into technical details: This was possible before
already, but the change was necessary as my provider changed to PHP's
save mode which doesn't allow reading files stored on a different
server. So the assistant was not able to read your directory listing
any more. The workaround used now is to have your script send
directory data via a POST command to the assistant.
