I hadn't been to the phpShop.org website in a long time, so I don't
know when the "Project Stopped" announcement was posted.

If Uli is not interested in taking over this project, I will offer to
take the project off the hands of Edikon. I continue to use and
modify it for websites that I program.

I realize that there are newer technologies out there for sites, but I
find that this platform is very flexible for the sites that need more
customized functions than just the standard "blog" styled sites.

Thoughts? Anyone else out there interested in keeping this project
alive too, or should it just be left to fade away?

I'd liked to continue this project and make it a plugin so we can add
it to our other apps. Even integrate it with Croogo CMS.

not sure what that CMS is, but as it's a standalone solution now, i prefer
to keep it a standalone solution. while i admit it would be easy enough to
convert it to a module for something else, i don't see that as the original
intent of the program.

that said, however, you would convert it and add it as an alternative
version. i'm not opposed to that.
