paypal return url

anyone having an issue with returns from paypal not finishing off the
order?

getting through paypal is working - order paid for. but the return
url is getting mucked up in the source for the paypal page. the "?
page=checkout/success&p=......" is getting the ampersand converted to
"amp;" in the source code, so there is no P variable when the link is
clicked. debug shows there's a "amp;p" varaible instead.

anyone else seeing this?

think i got it myself. paypal has change a variable name again!

used to be a variable called "return_method" hat was set to 1.

now it's called "rm" and gets set to 2

go figure!

i've included them both in my data sent over, and it works with both
of them in there.

paypal account (like put your return url) or that works in automatic?

i only have a premier account (not business) and i don't think the "auto
return" option works with premier, but i have it set up non-the-less. it
doesn't work, however. then again, i haven't played with it enough to know
it shouldn't, just that it doesn't.

although, now that i'm pondering it, it may have worked in the past. you
might want to check the options for the "rm" (return_method) variable - that
may have something to do with it.

gotta run, but let me know what you find out - i'll look at it later as
well.
